History reveals that he had a significant role in Ottoman history. It would be factually inaccurate if they were not included in Kurulus Osman since, according to history, he lived until the reign of Usman Ghazi's son Orhan Ghazi, and died at the age of 125.

Friends, he was regarded as one of Ottoman history's finest warriors and a close buddy of Ertugrul Ghazi. He was an Alp from the Kai tribe, and his axe was well-known. His name was also featured in the Ottoman Empire's Ghazis. At any given time, he could battle at least 20 guys.

Turgut has a son named Illyas bey as well. Turgut's birthplace is unknown, although he was born around the year 1200CE. During his childhood, his family was killed by Mongols. He continued to support Ottoman Ghazi, the Ottoman Empire's founder, after Erghul Ghazi's death. He accompanied him on all of Osman Ghazi's campaigns, and he was dispatched on a mission to conquer the city of Inegol by Osman Ghazi. They used the most effective strategies to seize the city and installed him as its emperor.

For many years, he controlled the city in peace and prosperity, and he was recognised as both a warrior and an administrator. Following Usman Ghazi, he continued to encourage and guide his son as a trusted counsel. He had a long life, according to legend, and was martyred while fighting with his legendary axe. His tomb is in the Turgut Alp (Genci) village cemetery in Negol, Turkey. As you may know, his burial beside Ertugrul Gazi's mausoleum is honorary. Ottoman history would be incomplete without the interesting narrative of Turgut Alp.
